I’m awake. I’m wobbly. I might have forgotten how my legs work, but I haven’t forgotten the honey.
You’ve been Bear’d. There is no need to panic.
(Actually… a little waddling panic is fine.)
Somewhere along the way, we decided it would be a good idea to send a bear to people’s houses.
“You’ve Been Bear’d” is a small, slightly ridiculous delivery fundraiser created by the businesses of Let’s Grow Grafton to help build the Grafton Games. You can send a surprise to a friend, neighbor, coworker, or anyone who could use a moment of confusion followed by a laugh.
On delivery day, a bear shows up with a small themed bundle, drops it off, and moves on. There is no long explanation, no deep meaning. Just bear.
This is how we’re funding the Grafton Games. Every order helps us build the event, add obstacles, and bring a little more life into what we’re creating for August 15th at the Rec Field. Any extra funds go directly to the Grafton Recreation Department to support more community events.
We know a lot of the support for Grafton businesses comes from outside of Grafton. We see you at markets, in our shops, and behind the scenes liking and sharing what we’re building. You’ve been part of this from the beginning, whether you realized it or not, so this is a thank you.
“You’ve Been Bear’d” deliveries are now expanding into neighboring towns. If a bear shows up at your house, that’s on purpose.
It all leads to the Grafton Games on August 15th. We’re building it in Grafton, but it’s not just for Grafton. Community doesn’t stop at the town line, and neither do we. We hope you’ll come over and play.
Each delivery includes:
It’s a tiny garden, a little sweetness, and a story they didn’t see coming.
The Logistics of a Bear Visit:
You place an order: Tell us who needs a smile.
The Bear handles the rest: On April 26th, the Bear will arrive at the local address provided.
Knock, Knock: The Bear may ring the doorbell or knock. If no one is home, the Bear will leave the bundle in a safe spot, whisper a brief poem to the porch, and waddle back to the “woods” (which may or may not look like a Ford Flex).
No Contact Required: While the Bear loves a wave through the window, no one needs to open the door if they are busy or currently in pajamas.
Deliveries are limited to Grafton and the immediate surrounding area so we can keep the route manageable and make sure every stop actually happens.
We’re keeping this round small, just 25 deliveries total.
Once those spots are filled, the bear goes back into hiding.
$15 per delivery
Limited spots available for April 26 delivery
When ordering, please include:
Local delivery only. Grafton + nearby areas.
We’re planning a few more Bear’d deliveries leading up to the Grafton Games, each with a slightly different theme and just as many questionable decisions.
A cozy little bundle to ease into warmer days.
Something to sip, something sweet, and the same bear who probably shouldn’t be trusted.
A simple, summery drop for people who are out and about.
Light, easy, and very likely delivered by a bear who just came out of the woods.
Things may start to get a little more… Grafton Games.
