The Grafton Games is something new for our town, a little ridiculous, a lot of fun, and built entirely by local businesses and volunteers.
There is no big sponsor behind it. No outside funding. Just people who want to create something memorable and bring a little energy into Grafton.
A lot of that support doesn’t stop at the town line. We see it at markets, in our shops, and online every day. This is being built in Grafton, but it’s for a much bigger community.
If you’ve ever had one of those “this could either be amazing or a complete disaster” ideas… this is one of those. And we’re going for it.
$235 of $2000
Every dollar moves us closer… and makes it a little more ridiculous.
We’ll have a designated calm zone where the inflatables won’t go, no color powder will be thrown, and things stay quieter and a little more relaxed. It’ll be set away from the stage and speakers so everyone can enjoy the day in their own way.
As we hit each fundraising level, we unlock new additions to the Grafton Games. It starts small… and gets progressively worse (better).
If we hit $500, the bear will be officially released into the Grafton Games… spectators and course included 🐻
We’re not entirely sure what that means yet, but it feels like something worth finding out.
At a completely unnecessary moment, a bell rings…
and a team of inflatable creatures, armed with color powder, is released into the course and the crowd.
Bright, chaotic, and possibly coordinated.
Additional messy obstacle, upgrades to existing ones, and more color, water, or general nonsense.
A nominated (and willing) Selectman or local figure takes the stage and faces an entirely unnecessary amount of silly string.
Every dollar helps us build something fun, slightly ridiculous, and worth showing up for.
Whether you’re right here in Grafton or one town over, you’re part of what makes this work.
