This is where the ideas stop being ideas.
Grafton in Action is a collection of the projects we’ve been building together, the ones you can walk through, trip over, laugh at, and come back to again. Some are meant to get you exploring new corners of town. Some are meant to bring people together in ways that feel a little unexpected. All of them are rooted right here, created by local businesses, neighbors, and volunteers who decided to just go ahead and try something.
The Trail of Bears started as a way to get people out wandering a little farther, noticing places they might usually drive past. It has grown into something playful, creative, and just a little bit weird in the best possible way.
The Grafton Games is our way of giving something back, a day that feels equal parts small-town field day and completely ridiculous obstacle course, built by the very businesses it supports.
These projects are always evolving. New ideas get added. Old ones get tweaked. Some things work better than expected, some get a little scrappy along the way, and that’s part of it.If you’re here to explore, this is a good place to start.
If you’re local, this is your invitation to jump in.
