Blacklight Paint Party: Red, White & Glow

This is absolutely not a follow-along paint class.

There won’t be one painting we’re all trying to copy, no pressure to “do it right,” and no instructor walking around fixing everyone’s trees. This night is about letting loose, making art with your favorite people, and creating just for the fun of it.

We’re turning the Craft Cottage yard into a glowing Red, White & Glow paint party with music, campfires, black lights, giant canvas drop cloths spread across the grass, and paint absolutely everywhere.

Everyone will receive two 16×20 canvas panels to paint throughout the night. Some canvases can be on easels if needed, but most of the painting will happen right on the ground because this is one of those things most people would never let themselves do at home. Here? You can make a giant mess and leave all the clean-up to me!!

We’ll have washable, non-toxic, glowing UV-reactive paints, bright neon colors, big brushes, finger painting, squeeze bottles, splatter painting, and plenty of space to play. Paint your canvas panels, paint yourself, paint your friends (with permission, please 😄), and just lean into a fun night of glowing-paint chaos under black lights. This is less “paint class” and more “summer celebration meets giant community art project.”

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint on. White and lighter colors will glow beautifully under the black lights, while darker colors will show off the UV paints better. Think red, white, neon, stars, stripes, fireworks, fireflies, and whatever else inspires you.

Each guest will receive a fun glow-party gift bag filled with a few surprises to help set the mood for the evening.

We’ll have complimentary campfire snacks and drinks ready for you, but feel free to pack your own cooler with your favorite treats and beverages from home. Additional blank canvas panels will also be available that night for anyone who decides two paintings somehow weren’t enough.

Because shipping to our quiet corner of Grafton takes a bit of extra time, registration will close one week early so we can ensure we have enough materials ready for everyone.
